"People who cannot find time for recreation are obliged sooner or later to find time for illness." - John Wanamaker
Sports tournaments and games have been a regular occurrence through the centre. Atmiya Sparsh advocate health and wellbeing and more importantly teach valuable life skills such as leadership and teamwork. Teamwork is one of the core attributes possessed by our volunteers and alike. When sports tournaments are organized multiple things can be achieved; firstly, physical fitness, mental freshness, teamwork strengthening communication skills, and comoradrey.
All tournaments are an annual event at Atmiya Sparsh. The tournaments encourage and foster relationships that last a lifetime. Role models/mentors are discovered and like-minded colleagues are befriended. These are a examples of His Divine Holiness Hariprasad Swami’s vision of Atmiyata – a bond of brotherhood in harmony. Every participant leaves every tournament with a new accomplishment – not just a trophy but a life skill and tool, which in turn become a better individual and therefore a better community at large.
We organize both indoor and outdoor tournaments.
